4. Data Retention and Deletion

Active Accounts

We will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services.

Account Deletion and Anonymization

When you request to delete your account, we take the following steps to protect your privacy while complying with legal and business obligations:

  • Immediate Anonymization: Upon your deletion request, we immediately anonymize personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, and phone number. This means your personal data is permanently removed from our active systems and can no longer be used to identify you.
  • Retention of Anonymized Data: We may retain certain anonymized or aggregated data that does not personally identify you for an additional period. This data is used for statistical analysis, service improvement, and to comply with legal requirements such as financial audits or dispute resolution.

You can delete your account at any time directly from the 'Settings' section of your user dashboard. This action will initiate our data anonymization and deletion process as described above. If you have any trouble accessing your account or have questions, you can also submit a deletion request by contacting us at cs@pickple.co.
